Pericarditis; This is a spontaneous report received from a contactable reporter(s) (Consumer or other non HCP) from the Regulatory Authority. Regulatory number: FR-AFSSAPS-MA20222253 (RA). A 35-year-old male patient received BNT162b2 (COMIRNATY), on 27Jul2021 as dose 1, single (Lot number: FE8244) at the age of 35 years intramuscular for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. The following information was reported: PERICARDITIS (medically significant) with onset 08Aug2021, outcome "recovered" (01Sep2021). The event "pericarditis" required physician office visit. The patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: Ultrasound scan: absence of pericardial effusion. Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of pericarditis.Clinical course: treatment was NSAIDs. Follow-up was on 11Aug lateral and post minimal pericardial detachment. On 08Aug2021 vice-like (constrictive) chest pain. No follow-up attempts are possible. No further information is expected.
